The FIFA World Cup 2026 is taking place partially in the DFW Metroplex this year, and along with it comes a lot of events to celebrate and watch the soccer/fútbol matches. For family-friendly events and experiences, keep reading below!
Addison, TX
Addison Circle Park
Addison Circle Park is hosting “Kick it in Addison,” where there will be FREE World Cup match watch parties on a giant screen June 11-14. There will also be bounce houses, coloring activities, lawn games, DJs, and live entertainment. You can take your own food and drink, or order food from restaurants in the Addison Circle area. No alcoholic beverages allowed unless purchased on-site at the Tapville Mobile Beer Taproom.
Arlington, TX
Arlington Museum of Art – “More Than a Match” Exhibit
Visit AMA and check out the current “More Than A Match.” Here you’ll find four immersive exhibits that share the history, culture, and highlights of soccer from around the world.
Arlington Fan Zone
Reserve your FREE tickets to watch World Cup matches with the entire family while surrounded by fellow fans at Arlington Fan Zone. Food and drinks available for purchase. There will also be live entertainment and interactive activities.
Interactive Street Art (Kick It In Downtown )
Take a picture with a fun optical illusion street art installation in Downtown Arlington.
Downtown Arlington – “Kick It In Downtown”
With Arlington being a host city for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, of course the entire city is going to celebrate! Enjoy several FREE pre-kickoff fan experiences with photo ops, live music, and more. Explore their website to find nearby watch parties.
Dallas, TX
Dallas Fair Park – The FIFA Fan Festival™
Attend The FIFA Fan Festival™ at the historic Fair Park in Dallas from June 11 through July 14 (excluding a few days). There will be live screenings, music, entertainment, food, and fan experiences.
Perot Museum – “Soccer: More Than A Game” Exhibit
Get the science behind soccer at the Perot Museum’s current exhibit, “Soccer: More Than A Game.” This is a family-friendly exhibit that shares how different fields of science, including biology, technology, and physics, influence different parts of the game of soccer.
Halperin Park
Watch six USA & Mexico matches for FREE at Halperin Park! There will also be local DJs for entertainment, food trucks, regular programming, and soccer-themed programming throughout the World Cup.
Klyde Warren Park
From June 11 – July 19, visit Clyde Warren Park in the heart of Dallas for The RedBall Dallas by artist Kurt Perschke, an iconic traveling art exhibit, will be traveling around downtown Dallas June 19-28, too.
COSM Dallas
COSM is a shared reality experience where being in the room makes you feel like you’re actually at the sports stadium! Get tickets to the first round matches now and check back later for the release of tickets for the matches in the upcoming rounds. General admission tickets start at $11 and Dome tickets start as low as $99 for select games.
SPARK! Dallas
Spark will be hosting FIFA Family days on select dates June14-27 from 1PM – 5PM. Families can watch daytime games while exploring the SPARK! City exhibition, exploring the open play area, and crafting fútbol themed creatives.
Fort Worth, TX
Sundance Square – Summer of Soccer
The Plaza of Fort Worth’s Sundance Square will be celebrating soccer all summer long with the “2026 Summer of Soccer,” where you can watch 100+ matches for FREE, enjoy local food and drinks, live music, and activities. Don’t miss out on the large hand-painted soccer balls throughout the plaza for the perfect photo ops!
Frisco, TX
Simpson Plaza
Frisco’s own soccer team, FC Dallas, and the city of Frisco are teaming up for a FREE 34 day fan festival and watch party for the World Cup!
