- Weather & Clothes: Check the weather before you go! It will be really hot for much of the early pumpkin patch season. Thus, wearing warm fall clothes could result in being too hot.
- Closed toe shoes: many of the pumpkin patches are on working farms, rough terrain, and dirty, dusty, and muddy terrain. Closed toe shoes are recommended for many.
